#4 One way around Manhattan

Hello : )

I am back with my last blogpost about my week in NYC – if this is the first post you read this is a series so there are three more posts. My last day in the city that never sleeps started with an trip to Coney Island. The beach is in Brooklyn when it´s warm outside you´ll find a lot of people there relaxing and having fun in the amusement park next to it. We walked a little bit in the water and than explored the pier. The cold air from the water was a blessing because temperature was up in the thirties in Celsius and nineties in Fahrenheit.

#3 From The One World Trade Center To Brooklyn

Hello : )

On day three in New York City we visited the 9/11 Monument and the Survivor Tree. We all know what terrible attack happened at this date and as a tourist in New York this place has to be a place to visit. The impact the memorial has is stunning, seeing the water floating down in the two big pools makes you realize how many lives were taken by these attacks. Today the place is green and looks happy but every step you do on this ground lets you remember. People in the United States and all over the world can tell each other what they did in the second of the attacks. I was to young but thinking of what impact it had I really do not know if I can find the right words or if there is someone out there who has them. For me all of this is so real that I sometimes think it´s surreal because of all the changes it brought with it!

#2 From The Brooklyn Bridge To The Empire State Building

Hello : )

today I will tell you all about my second day in New York City. The day started off with a breakfast in Brooklyn with an awesome view over the Brooklyn Bridge. When we finished our food we walked to the bridge to cross the East River. The almost two kilometers (approximately one mile) long bridge is a stunning construction, the walk and bike path is above a six lines road which is pretty intense thinking that when the bridge was originally created in 1883 it was the longest suspension bridge and today it´s a normal busy road to get to Manhattan. I always wanted to walk over the bridge; I mean if you saw ‚Sex and the City‘ you will know why. On the bridge we had an amazing view over Lower Manhattan New York (the One World Trade Center, and Wall Street).
